The bears had a difficult time getting past the Lions 3-2 in a game that both teams needed to win. The Bears were only 2 pts above the Tigers for first in the league and the Lions haven’t won a game since November.
This game showed touch passes, great puck movement and skillfulness on behalf of both teams. Lead by Milk Man Mike T., the Bears were flying through the neutral zone only to be shut down by Lions keeper, Mario Beautiful Lake.
The estimated 200 spectators were treated to what could have been one of the most enjoyable games to watch. (ed. note; but apparently not worth writing about…)
