The Sharks swaggered in to the Big Egg chanting "SHARK NATION 4-Life" after 3 straight victories versus a drunken Rhinos squad, a 6-man roster of Wolves, and a Tigers team minus their two top guns. Kevin "Cheech "Kennedy and Matt "Chong" Stever were not at their best after hearing that the league will adopt a "JUST SAY NO" policy in the coming months. Even Steve "Sand Bag " Mossing whining about hang nails, upset tummy and a sore wrist was not going to keep the Lions from getting away for their game plan, which was to leave every Shark wide open and let Mario "Beautiful Lake " get 100+ shots.

The game plan worked and the Lions struck first on a goal by Adam Collardey.

 After a questionable call from Steve "Marley" Clark, the Lions were short handed after Ronan "Rockstar" Wilson let his 23kg body go limp after a love tap from Paas.

 The Sharks managed 23 shots on goal on the PP but came up empty. Finally after working hard in the trenches the Sharks scored on a goal by Matt Stever, to tie things up.

 The game continued the same way with the Sharks applying pressure and Mario stopping all that came his way. Mr. "I am the league leading scorer, Don't touch me please" Stever got in a mix up with Adam Collardey. It looked like Stever may shed his gloves, but later realized that they were glued to his hands.

  The game ended tied and the Lions were off to their 3rd shootout. After Robin "Where's my game?" Ripley shot wide, and Stever tripped on himself and scored, the Lions needed a goal from the Big Man Paas, and they got just that. After Paas un-dressed Garth Brooks and went top-cheese for his first shoot-out goal of the year.

   The teams were still tied and it wasn't until Adam Collardey buried one past Brooks and Mario Beaulac turned aside David Caruso's weak attempt that the Lions could finally celebrate a well-earned win.

   As the Sharks left the building with their tails between their legs, one could hear this from their fearless leader Kennedy "Well at least we can spark up on the bus ride home...."
